how can i tell if my boyfriend is cheating on me?
me and my boyfreind have been together for a year now. i live with him. he went to buffalo for the weekend and i went to my mothers. he called my mothers house and asked for tara which is his x girls name. when he realized he called the wrong house he hung up. i called him back and he didnt answer. i tried again and he answerd i asked him why he called my moms asking for tara he said shes calling him and pranking him. he never erases his calls on his phone but when he got home all calls were erased and he kept hiding his cell phone on me! i answered his phone yesterday and no one would talk than he yelled at me for answering his phone. we had a talk and i told him that i know he is cheating on me or talking to another girl and he swore on his pas grave he isnt! when he swares on his pas grave hes serious but for some reason i cant beleive him! i have this bad feeling and cant explain it i dont know what to do!
Chances are something is going on. If he hides his phone and erases his calls he doesn’t want you to know something. If your goal is to first find out the truth then pay attention to the details. Men aren’t very good liars they will give themselves up in some manner.
For example they tend to lie “in color” as I like to say. They will give you details you don’t need, didn’t ask for or are not relevant to the conversation. I found out my boyfriend was cheating on me by looking at his phone, phone bill and whatever else I could get my hands on. Not that I condone my own behavior but I was asking for honesty and being lied to almost daily.
We are trying to work things out, so I am not saying all is lost but you have to decide what your tolerence is and how much you are willing to bend for this guy. He is going to have to come clean if you are going to work it out. If he truly wants you in his life he won’t be mad that you found out or how you found out he will work through it with you.
We deserve men who will not lie to us and treat us with respect. You two live together so if he is not committed to you now then you need to consider moving on as difficult as that may be.
